Architectural description :

Once the tallest buildings in the world, the 88-storey PETRONAS Twin Towers are now celebrated as the world’s tallest twin structures. Inspired by Islamic architecture, this gleaming mega-structure – standing 452 metres tall – retained its claim to fame until 2004 when Taipei's 101 was built measuring 508 metres – and with 101 floors.

Declared the tallest buildings in the world when they were completed in 1998 – surpassing the 442-metre-tall Willis Tower in Chicago, U.S.A – these twin wonders, located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, contain a complex of office buildings, conference halls, a sprawling 50-acre park and an upmarket shopping complex. Designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates, the buildings primarily house the corporate headquarters of the PETRONAS Company and are joined at the 41st and 42nd floors (175 metres above street level) by a 58-metre long double-decker Sky Bridge.

Architectural description :
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the bell tower of the Cathedral. Its construction began in the august of 1173 Although intended to stand vertically, the tower began leaning to the southeast soon due to a poorly laid foundation and loose substrate that has allowed the foundation to shift direction. The tower presently leans to the southwest. The bell-chamber was not finally added until 1372.

In 1987, the tower was declared as part of the Piazza dei Miracoli UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the neighbouring cathedral, baptistery and cemetery.

Architectural description :
The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris that stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. The triumphal arch honours those who fought for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars. On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. The monument was designed by Jean Chalgrin in 1806, and its iconographic program pitted heroically nude French youths against bearded Germanic warriors in chain mail. It set the tone for public monuments, with triumphant patriotic messages, until World War I.

Abu Simbel
Bu Simbel is a set of two temples near the border of Egypt with Sudan. It was constructed for the pharaoh Ramesses II who reigned for 67 years during the 13th century BC (19th Dynasty). The temples were cut from the rock and shifted to higher ground in the 1960s as the waters of Lake Nasser began to rise following completion of the Aswan High Dam.

The Egyptian pyramids are pyramid shaped structures located in Egypt, and were built as a tomb for dead pharaohs. There are over 100 Egyptian pyramids, most of which were built during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods.
